On site, you can talk with cocoa production and export managers in order to get a clear idea of CONACADO’s mechanisms and the cocoa business in our country. To help you assess the advantages of buying our cocoa, we provide detailed information on our products, prices, sale volume, availability and our experience in dealing with diverse markets.

Fair Trade market organizations and journalists. We offer tours of cocoa growing regions where you may observe various social programs, exchange with our members and their families, get acquainted with their daily life as well as the challenges they face and see how their affiliation has improved their living conditions.

We can also demonstrate how CONACADO operates and the conditions in which our cocoa grows. We provide the necessary information concerning our fair trade and organic market prices and benefits. Consequently, you will learn the why encouraging the fair trade movement is a worth while investment. A traditional lunch is provided by one of our producer’s family.

Tourists. We offer a wide range of programs for tourists interested in learning about cocoa. We demonstrate how the main ingredient of a chocolate bar that is consumed in Europe or in the USA is produced. We will also explain the advantages of organic cocoa production and the importance of the fair trade market in the third world countries.

We show you the mechanisms of the international market as well as who and where our clients are located so that you may find products made with our cocoa in your country. We invite you to have lunch with a cocoa producer’s family to discover how they live. The day ends with a swim in one of our regions fresh water rivers or in the Caribbean Sea.
